Rejoice Anyway

It is easy to rejoice when things are going great. When it looks as if we have no troubles or issues. Life is good. We are employed, our work life is good; spouses and kids are wonderful, our home life great; all bills are paid, our financial life is good. We even get along with or neighbors.

But do we rejoice when trouble arise and things turn sour? Kids are off the chain and spouses are complaining, for instance? When there are more bills going out than money coming in? Do we rejoice during these hard times? The Word of God says, "We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance." (Romans 5:3 NLT) We can rejoice and give thanks for every situation we find ourselves. We can give thanks to God for the trouble we don't have. Rejoicing during difficult times gives us the strength to continue until things get better. The saying is "trouble don't last always"! So, rejoice anyway!
