I once literally witnessed a fight in the spirit.
When the enemy sees that God's people are uniting to show Him honor and give Him glory, he rears his ugly head and attempts to commit sabotage by bringing discord. But the God we serve is All-powerful and All-knowing. He is always prepared for the tricks the devil has up his sleeves. God planted among us some powerful women of prayer. Let me remind you that the Word of God says "the thief's purpose is to steal, and kill and destroy." (John 10:10) He attempted to steal our joy and kill our purpose. His attempt to destroy what God had brought together did not manifest. Through prayer and praise satan was shut down as quickly as he rose. We serve a mighty God and He gets the glory for fighting a battle only He could win.
You see, it is satan's mission to break us, keep us in bondage to sin and kill our purpose. In hopes that we will join him in hell for eternity. It's his mission, but he won't win y'all! Because in the same verse Jesus says, "My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life." Jesus came that we may have this life now here on earth and in eternity! He accomplished that mission on the cross.
