Kept from the Hour

Updated: Aug 15, 2023

Revelation 3:10 states, "Because you have kept my word of patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth." This verse refers to the end times when Jesus will judge the world since all things are under His authority and judgment. As Followers of Christ, we are called to persevere in our faith and endure trials and tribulations. However, this verse offers us a promise of protection if we remain faithful to God's word. It is a reminder that God is in control and that we can trust in Him even in the midst of difficult circumstances. Being kept from the hour of trial does not mean we will never face hardships or persecution, it means that God will give us the strength and courage to endure and overcome them. It also means that we can have hope in the future when Christ will return and make all things new.

In practical terms, keeping God's word of patient endurance involves studying and applying His Word to our lives. It means seeking His guidance and wisdom in all aspects of our lives and trusting in His faithfulness. It also means being a witness for Christ and sharing His love with others. Revelation 3:10 is a call to persevere in our faith and to trust in God's sovereignty. May we all strive to keep God's word of patient endurance and live in the hope of His promise to keep us from the hour of trial. As we persevere, let us keep in mind what 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 instructs us to do. It says to "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." Be blessed y'all and be a blessing! Share Jesus with someone today! #HourofTrial #Revelation #TrustGod
