John 15:2 (NKJV)
"Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit."

God is not passive about your growth. He is intentional, deliberate and loving in the way He tends to your life. When something is removed or cut away, it’s not punishment, it’s pruning. The Father, as the Master Gardener, removes anything that hinders your spiritual growth and fruitfulness.
Pruning can show up as loss, transitions, closed doors, difficult relationships, or unexpected detours. It can look like grief, sickness, disappointment or even a divine pause. But none of it is random. The Gardener never prunes out of cruelty; He prunes out of love with precision, wisdom, and eternity in mind.
Although pruning may feel painful, it is a purposeful process. God is shaping you into someone who bears lasting fruit, fruit that brings Him glory and blesses those around you. You may not always understand the "why," but you can always trust the Who. The One doing the pruning knows the beauty He’s cultivating in you.
Prayer: Let Pruning Begin
Father, thank You for being the Gardener of my life. Even when I don’t understand the cuts, I choose to trust Your hands. Prune away anything in me that hinders Your purpose, pride, fear, unhealthy habits or attachments, and even the good things that are no longer fruitful. Strengthen me to endure the pruning process with faith and humility. Help me not to resist but to remain in You, knowing that every trim is for my good and Your glory. May my life bear much fruit that points others to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
