Trust Challenge

Updated: Jul 22, 2023

When was the last time you got in water without knowing the depth? When was the last time you took the trust challenge? If you are a frequent flyer, then you are always taking the challenge. You are trusting the pilot to do his job and you are trusting the functionablity of the plane.

Taking the trust challenge can be a powerful way to improve relationships and build trust with others. To start, identify someone you want to build trust with and commit to being completely honest with them for a set period of time. This can be a week, a month, or any other timeframe that works for you. Throughout the challenge, focus on being transparent, keeping your promises, and demonstrating your reliability. Remember, building trust takes time and effort, but the rewards are worth it. By taking the trust challenge, you can strengthen your relationships, improve communication, and create a more positive and supportive environment for everyone involved.

I know some of us have the saying, "trust no man". But how can we truly function in life if we don't trust somebody. Trust is different from faith. Faith is given by God (Ephesians 2:8-9) but trust is an individual choice. We choose to trust. If there is a scripture that I think goes with this topic, it would be Proverbs 3:5, which says, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding." Ask God for the wisdom and strength to begin trusting others. Then decide to take the trust challenge!

Blessings to each of you!
