From Mourning to Joyful Dancing

Tests and Trials will show up at our doorsteps, not doubt.

One of the tests is the death of a loved one. Many of us have experienced losing someone since the pandemic. Death has the potential to send us into a state of mourning. It's often because we see death as the end. B.U.T (but understand this), in the eyes and life of Jesus, death is not the end. We have to revert back to the word of God; that Jesus died so that we may live eternally, if we believe.

Even a divorce can leave us in a state of mourning. I know this from experience. However, we must remind ourselves that God will turn our mourning into joyful dancing. He doesn't tell us not to be mournful but as David said, God will take away our clothes of mourning and cloth us with complete joy. A joy that nothing in this world can give us. For "the joy of the Lord is our strength" and it gives us the ability to keep living. It gives us the power to go from mourning to joyful dancing.

Psalm 30:11-12 - "You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, that I might sing praises to you and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever!"
