I put up a Facebook post about my eventful time as a vendor at a pop-up shop this past Sunday. It was a very hot day and my table was set up outside right by the entrance of the boutique. (Side note: thank God for the shade) So I was one vendor people saw first before going inside.
Here I am speaking to everybody but no one stopped at my table initially. I'm sitting there talking to God, they probably thought I was crazy talking to myself. I said Lord I know I prayed that I would sell every book I brought out. But no one has come by to even look. I told Him that I was still thankful for the opportunity and the exposure.
Well, after two hours I finally made a sell and another one and another one. I actually sold nine books. The last sold as I was packing to leave to a young lady the Spirit told me to pray for her. She immediately said she now understood why she waited so long to come over to my table. She needed that prayer.
Romans 8:28 says, "And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." When we are patient enough and trust God to work things out, He will! I was so blessed to have been used by God for His purpose!
